Job description

$5,000 Sign On Bonus

Full time, (3) 12 hour shifts- Days, nights

Part time, (2) 12 hour shifts- Days, Nights

Every other weekend required!

Hiring all shifts-Get paid WEEKLY!

Education Requirements:

  • Must hold an active Maine RN License
  • Basic Life Support is required, or within 3 months of hire

Job Summary:

Other Skill Required

  • Ability to assist in the development, interpretation, implementation, evaluation and documentation for each resident/patient using the nursing process
  • Has a passion for working with long term care residents and skilled patients:
  • Assesses resident/patient, initiates resident/patient database, as assigned, and completes assessment according to facility/unit policy and federal/state regulations
  • Ability to identify problems and help formulate plan of care according to facility/unit policy and federal/state regulations. Care plan demonstrates interventions, outcomes, and nursing judgment related to resident/patient and family needs including discharge planning
  • May contribute to the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) as assigned, within the established time frame and incorporate the re4sults in the plan of care
  • Demonstrates accountability and coordination of care by:
  • Following through on less predictable problems
  • Referring to other appropriate disciplines
  • Involving patient/resident/family in care
  • Establishing teaching plans with patient/resident/family
  • Participating in discharge planning process
  • Collaborates with physician regarding resident/patient care issues
  • May participate in resident/patient care conferences; utilizes information to provide continuity of resident/patient care
  • Identifies deviation from expected vital signs and lab tests. Documents, reports, and follows through on abnormal findings with physician/nurses
  • Sets priorities. Demonstrates skill in problem solving and follows through with assigned functions
  • Demonstrates an understanding if the medical plan of care and ensures that physician orders are implemented promptly and accurately
  • Act as an advocate for providing safe delivery of resident/patient care
  • Has a passion for delivering compassionate care to long term and skilled residents/patients
